UNE Tamworth Central

Touchstone Partners were appointed Project Manager for the new UNE Tamworth campus in December 2022. The project will deliver the first dedicated university campus for Tamworth.

The foundation building consists of 4 floors of general teaching, specialist teaching, staff accommodation and study space. The teaching facilities will be flat floor spaces, reflecting contemporary pedagogy and teaching practices. Spaces will be flexible and multi-functional with various capacities from 25 up to 100. This will allow for a variety of delivery modes to groups of various sizes.

After a complicated planning phase, construction has now commenced on the site with opening scheduled in 2028. The project is being delivered under a GC21 Design & Construct contract.
