Touchstone Partners are the Development and Project Managers for the residential and retail mixed use development which will be the southern landmark supporting the City of Sydney’s vision for the revitalisation of the Chinatown Haymarket precinct.

Touchstone collaborated with Candalepas Associates architects, the City of Sydney, the local community and the owners of the historically significant Emperor’s Garden restaurant to transform the existing 3 level building into a 15 level apartment and retail development.



The Detailed DA was approved in 7 months in May 2026. The proposed development on the 450m² site includes 22 apartments and 840 m² of retail (GFA).
