Tallowwood

City West Housing is developing the Tallowwood project on Princes Highway Rockdale. The project will provide 80 affordable housing apartments in an 11 storey tower over a basement.

The predominately brick façade provides a high quality building, that also features access to Rockdale Station within 800m and fronts on to the Princes Highway.

The mix of apartments provides one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom apartments to provide accommodation across the City West Housing client list. The development includes accessible and adaptable apartments and will achieve a Silver Living rating.

Touchstone Partners is the Superintendent for the project.

The construction commenced in mid 2024 with a decontamination works package. Building works commenced in early 2025 and are expected to be completed in 2026.
