Facade Remediation

Touchstone Partners are the project managers for Event for the refurbishment of the 525 – 505 George Street façade. Event operates the George Street multiplex cinema complex comprising 15 screens (3,251 seats).

The façade refurbishment is for the removal and replacement of the non compliant aluminium façade panels to Event’s property at 525 George Street and 505 George Street, which it leases.

Touchstone negotiated and are administering the commercial agreements with Sydney Light Rail, City of Sydney, Coombes Property Group and the D&C Contractor.



The commercial agreements provide the framework to enable the construction of the works in an area which is controlled by noise and vibration limitations imposed by the cinemas and access restrictions imposed by the light rail.
