525 George Street

Touchstone Partners is the Development and Project Manager for the 525 George Street project. The brief from Event was to achieve the maximum developable GFA on a site that is constrained by tall residential buildings to the north and south of the site.

The building was subject to a design competition which was won by Candalepas Architects. The Candalepas design provides an elegant and beautifully proportioned tower for this long narrow site in George Street, Syndey.

Council strongly supported the development proposal and approved the Stage 2 DA in May 2023.

The 172 m tower is a 44-level mixed use development with 28,280 m2 of (GFA). The high rise levels of the tower provide 98 luxury apartments. The mid-rise provides a 4 star 285 room luxury hotel and in the low rise, 5 boutique cinemas with 365 seats and 331 m2 of retail activates George Street and Albion Lane.
