456–458 George Street

Touchstone Partners was appointed by Event Hospitality and Entertainment (Event) to manage the design and development approval of the 456 – 458 George Street development.

The landmark corner site comprises 5 sites, including the heritage listed State Theatre and Gowings QT Hotel.

The proposed development utilises the gross floor area of the heritage sites to deliver a 130m high office tower plus a podium to provide a 12-level hotel with 75, 5 star boutique rooms into the QT George Street building.

The hotel Stage 2 DA was approved in November 2020 and physical commencement of the DA was obtained October 2025.



Touchstone Partners manages the State Theatre and Gowings hotel façade remediation and maintenance works.
